Ceramics Shaped by Touch, Not by Wheel

I am moving away from the singular object in my work and toward assemblage so that I can explore the relationships between forms. As always, nature has been the inspiration.

Like meeting a relative for the first time who bears a strong family resemblance, my hope is that my work feels to the viewer like something they have never seen before yet also feels vaguely familiar as it rests comfortably within the language of the natural world.
